AGP boost for international Supercars fans

SUPERCARS’ international streaming service SuperView will provide coverage from Albert Park this week in a win for fans living abroad.

Supercars’ digital media opportunities at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix have tended to be limited, and in previous years SuperView has not been available via YouTube.

Beyond being an F1-centric event, general complications include the fact the AGP is aligned with Network 10, while Seven is Supercars’ free-to-air partner.

Nevertheless, Supercars has confirmed to V8 Sleuth that SuperView will be in play at the 2024 AGP, through both Supercars.com and now YouTube too.

Indeed, all sessions that make up the MSS Security Melbourne SuperSprint (i.e. Supercars’ two practice sessions, four qualifyings and four races) will all be streamed live and on-demand.

SuperView is available to customers outside of Australia and New Zealand.

Action at Albert Park kicks off Thursday.

Fox Sports/Kayo will show all four days of the event, while Network 10 coverage will run Friday 12-5pm (AEDT), Saturday 10am to 5:30pm, and Sunday 8:30am to 5pm.
