BATHURST WINNING HOLDEN’S HOME AMONG LEGENDARY CARS

THE 2011 Bathurst 1000 winning Holden Racing Team VE Commodore is keeping some pretty impressive company in the United Kingdom.

McLaren Formula 1 boss Zak Brown purchased the Garth Tander/Nick Percat driven car from the Walkinshaw stable in 2017, prior to buying into the Supercars squad.

The Commodore was subsequently shipped to England and has been driven by Brown on multiple occasions, as well as guests such as then McLaren driver Carlos Sainz in 2019.

It lives among Brown’s extensive collection of cars housed at the workshop of sportscar team United Autosports, also co-owned by Brown, in West Yorkshire, England.

Brown recently opened the doors to his collection for a YouTube channel hosted by model, presenter and racing enthusiast Jodie Kidd.

A series of significant Formula 1, IndyCar and sportscars are housed downstairs, with the HRT car among an eclectic mix upstairs that includes a Dale Earnhardt NASCAR.
