BOWE, RICHARDS TO LAUNCH ‘LITTLE HEROES’ KIDS BOOKS

A PAIR of Australian racing legends will be on hand at this weekend’s public event to launch the new ‘Little Heroes’ series of motorsport-themed children’s books.

Fans have been invited to join Jim Richards and John Bowe on Saturday for the books’ launch on Saturday.

The event will take place from 11am on July 3 at the Realm library in Ringwood, situated in the Westfield Eastlands shopping centre and across the road from Ringwood train station.

The event is free to attend, although you’ll need to become a member of the Realm libraries – which is also free and can be done in advance by clicking HERE.

Richards and Bowe are the subjects of the first two books in the series, each of which tells the story of their racing careers in a kid’s book format, packed with colourful illustrations.

Written and published by motorsport media veteran Grant Rowley, the other ‘Little Heroes’ books released so far feature Dick Johnson, Peter Brock and rally star Molly Taylor.

The books can be purchased online from the V8 Sleuth Bookshop and will also be for sale at the launch, which will be hosted by V8 Sleuth’s Aaron Noonan.
