DJR inks two-year sponsorship deal

THE Shell V-Power Racing Team has locked in a key piece of its commercial puzzle for the early stages of Gen3.

The Stapylton squad has announced a two-year extension of its partnership with CRC Industries through to the end of 2024.

CRC tasted immediate success when it joined Dick Johnson Racing in 2020, winning both the drivers’ and teams’ championships that year.

“CRC Industries are the leaders in product quality and performance and help the Shell V-Power Racing Team both on and off the track, with our crew using nothing but the best every day,” said DJR executive chairman Ryan Story.

“We are delighted to continue our partnership with CRC Industries until the end of 2024.”

DJR will continue with Will Davison and Anton De Pasquale as its drivers next season, when its new S650 Mustang will take on the Chevrolet Camaro.

The Gold Coast 500 starts today, with Practice 1 for the Repco Supercars Championship starting at 12:35pm local time (1:35pm AEDT).
