PROJECT Sandman by Triple Eight Race Engineering and GM Holden Design Department is one that generated plenty of interest from fans when it was unveiled in 2014.

Now Biante Model Cars has a 1:12 scale model of the Project Sandman Tribute Edition, with limited quantities available for sale here from 2pm today AEST (May 27)!

There are only 170 of these models being produced in a very limited run.

There are numerous features worth noting on the model from Biante, including injection-moulded glass housings for added strength and accuracy, photo etched parts and detailed brakes and wheels.

Despite the model being produced in sealed body resin (in order to maintain an affordable price point for collectors) there has been no expense spared in replicating the interior cockpit. The interior detail includes full decoration, faithfully replicated seat and painted interior characteristics along with the seat harness and window netting.

It’s presented in deluxe packaging along with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

The real Project Sandman car was recently sold to a new owner, V8 Sleuth was first to report this story in April 2020, click here to read more.
