OUR V8 Sleuth-producedbook covering the histories of every Holden Racing Team Commodore has had an amazing response from so many people since news first broke of it being assembled last year.
We’ve had plenty of enquiries in recent weeks about the status of the book andwe can now update you with further information.

Those that have pre-ordered the ‘HRT The Cars 1989-2016’ book will be pleased to know we have some more definite dates for delivery.
We expect to deliver this book to customers in late July/early August; the book has now been delivered to the printers and is being printed offshore, so the exact date it lands with us in Australia will be somewhere around this time.
Our original plan was to have this book out in the 2nd quarter of this year, which will only miss by a matter or a month or so – and there’s very good reason for it that is a bonus for the reader.
This book was originally to be 300 pages however we have – at no extra expense to the customer – expanded it by 25 percent with another 100 pages to make for a total of 400 pages to ensure we piled in as many words and photos as possible. Naturally, this has added some time to the whole process of completing the book.
“This book project has been an absolutely massive undertaking for the small V8 Sleuth team,” says book author and publisher Aaron Noonan.
“We wanted it to be the best it could be, hence why we took the added expense of adding more pages and that has added a little more time to how long it has taken to complete.
“We’ve had a digital print sample copy delivered to the office that we have showed off via a recent Facebook video and the response has been amazing – there’s no doubting the passion of our V8 Sleuth followers and fans of the Holden Racing Team and its history.
“We appreciate the many well-wishers that have called our office or emailed or contacted us via social media expressing how excited they are to get their hands on a final copy of the book. We share those feelings!”
There’s a range of photos included that have never-been-published before and a range of insights and information never before published relating to the histories of the Holden Racing Team’s Commodore race cars covering a golden era of the sport.
This is a special collector’s edition book limited to just 1000 numbered copies. Well over half of the copies have been snapped up by pre-orders, ensuring these customers will not miss out on this special collectable.
