GARRY Jacobson will celebrate his 100th race in the Repco Supercars Championship when he lines up on the grid for race one at Symmons Plains this weekend.

The #76 PremiAir Racing driver reaches the milestone after joining the championship full-time in 2019.

Jacobson won the Dunlop Super2 Series for Prodrive Racing Australia (Tickford) in 2016 and scored seven wins from the 100 races he started in the series.

Ironically, his 100th Super2 race was declared a no result after the race was suspended after a crash that damaged the barrier at turn 10.

Jacobson’s first Supercars Championship start came in 2017 at the Sandown 500 co-driving with Jason Bright for Tickford Racing.

The former Formula Ford racer made his full-time Supercars Championship debut in 2019 for Kelly Racing in a Nissan Altima and scored a best finish of 12th at the Gold Coast. He then moved to Matt Stone Racing in 2020 and scored the best race finish of his Supercars career at Sydney Motorsport Park with a seventh place.

Jacobson joined Team SYDNEY in 2021 and now drives alongside Chris Pither at the new PremiAir Racing team.

Subway will remain as naming rights sponsor of the #76 Commodore at Symmons Plains for Jacobson’s 100th race celebration.
