Limited-edition book celebrating every Holden to race at Bathurst will be on sale trackside …

OUR recently released ‘Holden at Bathurst, The Cars: 1963-2017’ limited-edition hardcover book will be available for purchase trackside at next weekend’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 at Mount Panorama.

Copies will be available to purchase trackside through our friends at Motorfocus Diecast Models in merchandise alley over the four-day event, retailing for $120 each – they’d make the perfect Christmas present!

Our new 360-page, collector’s book is limited to just 2500 copies and includes over 1000 photos, featuring every Holden to have competed in the Bathurst 500/1000 between 1963 and 2017, also featuring non-starting cars, non-qualifiers and test cars too.

Penned by author Aaron Noonan and published by V8 Sleuth, the book features rare and never-before-published photos of Holden’s participation in The Great Race and includes a foreword written by six-time Bathurst winner and Holden legend, Larry Perkins.

For those who can’t make it to Bathurst for this year’s running of the endurance classic, you can order a copy through the V8 Sleuth Online Store here.

Quantities are strictly limited so ensure you get in early to avoid missing out on this ultimate photographic history of Holden at Bathurst.

Stock permitting, MotorFocus will also have the book available trackside for sale at the Vodafone Gold Coast 600 and Coates Hire Newcastle 500.

While Holden is the focus of this latest release, fans of the ‘Blue Oval’ have reason to get excited with a sister book now available for pre-order online.

It too will feature photos of every Ford to compete in the Bathurst 500/1000 between 1963-2018 and is due to arrive in January 2019.

Pre-order you copy here now to ensure you receive this piece of motorsport history.

Motorfocus will also carry a range of V8 Sleuth merchandise at Bathurst, Gold Coast and Newcastle with a range of our motorsport DVDs (including Bathurst full races and highlights from the 1970s and 1980s) and magazines.

V8 Sleuth strives to both preserve and celebrate Australian motorsport’s rich history, from tracking and tracing the race-by-race histories and changing ownership of individual cars, to capturing and retelling the stories of the people who made our sport what it is today.
