It's Neil and Noonz at the next V8 Sleuth Open Night – and we're stepping it up with a cinema venue location!

V8 SLEUTH’S Open Nights have been a huge hit in recent years and in November 2019 they’re stepping up a notch – into the cinema!

To cater for growing demand from guest numbers, the next event in Melbourne will be held at HOYTS Cinemas in Chadstone ahead of the Sandown 500 endurance event.

Hall of Famer Neil Crompton is the special guest for the evening, turning the night into a fun evening of stories hosted by V8 Sleuth’s Aaron Noonan in what we’re dubbing our ‘Noonz and Neil Night’!

We’ve held Open Nights in Bathurst, Melbourne and Perth with guests including Dick Johnson, Glenn Seton and, most recently, Brad Jones, and they’ve all proven to be a huge hit!

The Sandown 500 V8 Sleuth ‘Noonz and Neil’ Open Night will be held on Thursday November 7, kicking off from 7:30pm.

The now-familiar and popular format of our V8 Sleuth Open Nights will see Aaron and Neil chat about ‘Cromley’s’ career to date, one that holds a unique place in Australian motorsport.

From his early days as a Ballarat-born junior motocross champion, Crompton has carved out two very different careers: in the cockpit and in the media.

He twice reached the Mount Panorama podium as a driver in the Bathurst 1000 and claimed victory in the 1994 Bathurst 12 Hour and has been the voice of the Supercars Championship on television for the balance of the past two decades.

The boys have a pile of great stories ready for the fans and will also run a Q&A session where guests will have a chance to ask a question of Neil – no doubt there will be plenty!

And we’ve dug deep into the V8 Sleuth photo files to ensure there’s some ripping images beamed up onto the big screen to provide a stunning backdrop to the discussion!

The V8 Sleuth Book Shop will also be there off the back of its latest appearance trackside at the Bathurst 1000 with copies of our limited edition publications, while food and drink will be available for purchase at the event via the theatre.

A night of great stories, fun, and prizes is in store, so get in early to reserve your ticket to this event, as past experience indicates that tickets will sell quickly!
