THE covers are off PremiAir Racing’s two Holdens ahead of its maiden Repco Supercars Championship season.

The new squad’s cars will carry some big-name backing, with Chris Pither’s Commodore set to race in Coca-Cola colours while Garry Jacobson’s will carry primary sponsorship from Subway for the first two rounds of 2022.

The liveries were revealed at Cbus Super Stadium alongside the Titans NRL team as PremiAir Racing formally announced that it is making its home on the Gold Coast, having secured a workshop at Arundel that will come online after the season gets underway.

Pither returns to a full-time Supercars drive for the first time since the 2020 season and is excited to be joining a brand-new team.

“We’re fortunate to have secured great people over the past month to join our team,” he said.

“Everyone is really enthusiastic and keen to get the season underway.

“I’m grateful and privileged to have the continued support of one of the world’s largest brands. I’m loving the new livery! Both the Subway and Coca-Cola car are looking awesome.

“Everyone involved is passionate and results driven. We have high targets and expectations for the season and will be pushing hard as a team to achieve these.”

Teammate Jacobson, who raced for Team SYDNEY last season, will have one element of continuity amid his fourth team change in four seasons – he will drive the same chassis as last year.

“I’m excited to be a part of this exciting chapter with Peter, the team at PremiAir and Subway,” Jacobson said.

“I’m proud to be associated with a brand that promotes good health & wellness and delivers quick, nutritional meals for people on the go, like myself.

“It’ll be great having Subway’s Famous Footlongs on track to help fuel the team.”

The cars will hit the track for the team’s pre-season test day at Queensland Raceway on Wednesday.
