Public Melbourne launch for Triple Eight wildcard

TRIPLE Eight will launch its 2024 Repco Supercars Championship wildcard and test livery via a public event in Melbourne.

Venturing away from the team’s Brisbane roots, the Supercheap Auto Camaro and drivers Craig Lowndes and Cooper Murray will star at the unveil at food hub Grazeland nearby the West Gate Bridge.

It will take place on Friday April 12, with gates opening at 5pm and all sorts of activations on the cards.

“The Supercheap Auto team are extremely excited to launch our fourth season of the wildcard,” said Supercheap Auto managing director Benjamin Ward.

“To give Supercars fans an opportunity to be part of the action, right from the start, is important to us.

“This season is about them as much as it means to us and Grazeland is the perfect place to kick off our 2024 campaign.”

Triple Eight has yet to confirm whether its latest wildcard program will include a solo round for Murray, as it did last year for Zane Goddard in Darwin.
