Stable Super2/3 calendar for 2024

A RELATIVELY familiar calendar has been unveiled for the 2024 Dunlop Series.

Along with the release of next year’s championship schedule today, the six rounds where Super2/3 will take chief support status have been locked in.

Besides minor date shuffles, the only change is that Mount Panorama will take over from Newcastle as Round 1.

An intriguing 2023 Dunlop Series has played out as Gen2 Mustangs and ZB Commodores were handed down, and a range of exciting new talent joined the grid.

Rookies Ryan Wood (Walkinshaw Andretti United) and Aaron Love (Blanchard Racing Team) have already secured 2024 graduations to the main game, and Zak Best may yet add to that list.

Best is currently locked in a title scrap with Kai Allen, with just 30 points separating the pair ahead of the Adelaide decider in a fortnight’s time.

The Super3 stakes are more settled, with Jobe Stewart 192 points up on second-placed Jett Johnson.

As for 2024, Jeremy Hill from category naming rights sponsor Dunlop spoke with enthusiasm about what is to come.

“The Dunlop Series has firmly established itself as the leading support category in the championship, and we’re thrilled to have six rounds as part of the 2024 calendar,” said Hill.

“This series demonstrates our commitment to supporting grass roots motorsport and offers emerging Supercar drivers an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate their skills before race teams, sizable audiences, and devoted motorsport fans.

“We share in the excitement of fans, teams, and drivers and are looking forward to what the 2024 Supercars season will bring.”
