Super2 stalwarts round out four-car squad

EGGLESTON Motorsport will enter four cars in the 2023 Dunlop Super2 Series following official confirmation of Cameron Crick’s return.

The 25-year-old transitioned into the Supercars feeder series last year following an apprenticeship across the V8 SuperUtes and Toyota 86 categories.

Five top 10 race results would eventuate as he finished 12th in a solid if unspectacular rookie season.

Crick’s re-signing completes a line-up that otherwise includes teen sensation Kai Allen, Porsche convert Cooper Murray and Formula Ford graduate Jordyn Sinni.

Eggleston, which won the 2014 Super2 title with Paul Dumbrell, will run four ZB Commodores – two of which it has purchased from Team 18, while it’s understood the other two will be leased off PremiAir Racing owner Peter Xiberras.

“Cam is back!” Eggleston announced via social media.

“Cameron Crick will suit up for a second season in Super2 with EMS in 2023.

“The first year is always a learning year and we are stoked that we get to really convert what Cam has learnt into some solid results and be up the pointy end where he deserves to and can be.

“The hardest working driver we have met in putting his loyal sponsor group and entire program together, proud to have you in the EMS family.”

Crick is the son of the late six-time Australian Super Truck title winner Rodney.
