Notable privateer V8 Commodore to return to the track
SOMETIME ago V8 Sleuth fans will recall a story on the restoration of Bob Jones’ Ampol Max 3 Commodore VP in Tasmania.
We’re pleased to say that things are progressing well with this car confirmed to appear with the Australian 5 Litre Touring Car Association at its demo event at the Winton Historics in August with its owner Gary Cannan.
The car is set to have its first full public appearance this weekend at Baskerville in Tasmania – keep an eye on Saturday Sleuthing on the V8 Supercars website next weekend for a full story on the car’s life.
