Title-winning Trans Am squad secures new home

DREAM Racing Australia will bid farewell to Calder Park and soon move into new headquarters as part of its expansion plans.

Dream is the team with which Nathan Herne won the 2021 National Trans Am title, and it has since continued to operate in both Trans Am and the TA2 Muscle Car Series.

Having secured a facility at Knoxfield, east of the Melbourne CBD, Dream is now scouring opportunity to enter further categories such as the RX8 Cup, Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia 86 Racing Series and the V8 SuperUte Series.

“We’re really excited to announce the news that we’re moving our facility from Calder Park out to Knoxfield in Victoria,” said team owner Craig Scutella.

“It’s a full race facility and we’re looking at growing the business next year, with the possibility of moving into other categories beyond TA2 and Trans Am.

“We’re going to move forward and bring a few more clients in for the best experience of their lives.

“The new facility in the race team is totally dedicated to the race team, it has all the amenities and all the good gear in it including an engine room.

“We will be able to cater for a variety of cars, anything from RX8s to Porsches and everything in between.

“We’ve got the best crew, headed up by (crew chief) Cameron Fisher and (team manager) Kim Jane, who will be joined closely by 10-plus quality race mechanics, engineers, and data analysts.”
