ROUND TWO of the Repco Supercars Championship, the NED Whisky Tasmania SuperSprint, gets underway this weekend with coverage on Foxtel, Kayo and Channel 7.

This weekend is a Fox Sports-exclusive round for live racing, the Saturday broadcast commences at 9:00am EDT on Foxtel/Kayo, with the first Supercars race of the weekend at 4:55pm EDT.

Coverage on Sunday will start at 9:30am, the Supercars races set to begin at 1:00pm EDT and 3:55pm EDT respectively.

Friday’s on-track action, which includes practice and some qualifying for support categories, will not be televised.

Race highlights will also be shown on Channel 7. Saturday’s Supercars race highlights will be shown on Sunday at 12:15am EDT and highlights of the remaining two races will be shown on Monday at 12:00am EDT.

Both highlight packages will also be shown on 7mate between 3:30pm EDT and 5:30pm EDT on Monday March 28.

Marcos Ambrose returns to the Supercars coverage this weekend after his successful TV debut at the event last year.

The two-time Supercars champion and local hero will also be driving the Gen3 Ford Mustang for demonstration laps around the Symmons Plains circuit.

The newly-liveried Gen3 Chevrolet Camaro will also be on track for demo laps and will be driven by 2007 Supercars champion Garth Tander.

In addition to the Repco Supercars Championship, the Tassie Tin Tops, Aussie Racing Cars and the SuperUtes will be on the race schedule over the weekend.
