THE latest episode on the Perkins Engineering YouTube channel features an update on the restoration of Larry Perkins’ 1993 and ’94 Bathurst Commodores.

The two cars are being restored side-by-side at Perkins Engineering in Melbourne to a meticulous level of detail under the eye of Larry’s son Jack Perkins.

In the video Jack details the current state of the two iconic Commodores and explains why the restorations are such lengthy projects.

The 1993 car was famously driven to victory in the 1993 Tooheys 1000 by Larry Perkins and Gregg Hansford, while the ’94 machine finished third.
