WAU set to lead off Supercars livery season

WALKINSHAW Andretti United is set to be the first team to show off its warpaint for the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship.

A flurry of liveries are scheduled to drop in the coming weeks, either side of pre-season tests at Queensland Raceway (February 5) and Winton (February 7).

Leading the way will be WAU, which will unveil its Mustangs for Chaz Mostert (#25) and rookie Ryan Wood (#2) tomorrow night.

WAU has for some time now tended to run semi-split liveries, with Mobil 1 on both cars along with a separate co-naming rights partner.

Per Supercars, the Blanchard Racing Team will be next, on February 2, a day before Grove Racing’s uncovering of its Mustangs at Penrite’s headquarters in Dandenong South.

Triple Eight is at this stage in line to be the first Chevrolet team to complete a livery reveal, and it will do so in style via a public event at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport (also on February 3).
