APEX Replicas have announced its latest batch of pre-order models including the Mercedes that seven-time Supercars champion Jamie Whincup steered in this year’s Bathurst 12 Hour.

The Sunenergy1 AMG GT3 of car owner Kenny Habul, Frenchman Tristan Vautier, Italian Raffaelle Marciello and Whincup grabbed second place in the round-the-clock classic at Bathurst in February and soon the 1:43 scale version will be available.

Only 500 models of the striking Sunenergy1 Mercedes will be produced worldwide by Spark Models and are available to pre-order here from the Apex Replicas website.

Apex Replicas have also announced that they are taking pre-orders for 1:43 versions of this year’s Le Mans 24 Hour-winning LMP1 Toyota TS050 Hybrid from Toyota GAZOO Racing.

In addition to the outright winner, each of the class-winning cars from the French endurance classic, including the LMP2, LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am cars will also be produced.

Aussie Matt Campbell won the LMGTE Am class at the wheel of a Dempsey-Proton Racing Porsche.
