DJR Team Penske driver Scott McLaughlin and his exuberant engineer Ludo Lacroix will be headline guests for an exclusive function at Hervey Bay next month to raise funds and awareness for brain cancer.
The event will be hosted by Supercars pit-lane reporter Riana Crehan and includes canapés, a three-course dinner, live music, a presentation by McLaughlin and Lacroix, memorabilia auction and public Q & A session.
Tickets are available for the exclusive night at The Beach House Hotel on Friday June 29 with all proceeds going to Rally For a Cause and the Charlie Teo Foundation.

The night has been organised by Hervey Bay resident and business owner Janine Cawthray, whose son Mitchell was diagnosed with brain cancer three years ago and continues to battle the disease today.
The night will provide an opportunity to meet current Supercars Championship leader McLaughlin and enjoy a motorsport-themed function while aiding the fight against brain cancer.
Mrs Cawthray told V8 Sleuth she was overwhelmed by the willingness of the DJR Team Penske pair to help create the night.
“I had met Ludo before and he really took a liking to my son at the time,” she said.
“When I told him that we wanted to do something like this he was very supportive and he actually got Scott involved.
“I’m so grateful that both the guys and Riana are giving their time for our event, it will be an awesome night.”
