Bathurst 12 Hour names official charity partner

THE Repco Bathurst 12 Hour will again have a significant affiliation with one of the world’s biggest companies: McDonald’s.

As was the case in 2023, a McCafé outlet will be set up in the Harris Park precinct during the February 16-18 event.

Furthermore, Ronald McDonald House Charities has been reappointed as the 12 Hour’s official charity partner, receiving 100 percent of all McCafé coffee sales at the event.

“We are excited to partner with the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour once again, keeping our customers and race fans fuelled throughout the event,” said McDonald’s Australia director of marketing Amanda Nakad.

“If you’re feeling like a caffeine hit, come by to McCafé and help support seriously ill or injured children and their families, with all funds going directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities in southern New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.”

Bathurst 12 Hour event director Shane Rudzis hailed the renewed association.

“Coffee and long-distance endurance racing go hand in hand, so we’re pleased to welcome McDonald’s and McCafé back to the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour,” he said.

“This has become a longstanding partnership and we’re proud to be associated with such an iconic company and brand.

“In the early hours of Sunday morning it will be the place to be on Mount Panorama.

“We’re proud once again to be supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities and it’s great to know that proceeds raised at the event will go towards such an incredibly worthwhile cause.”
