Coke switches support to Tickford

TICKFORD Racing has released its pair of 2024 Repco Supercars Championship liveries featuring a key addition: soft drink giant Coca-Cola.

Coke backed the championship-winning Camaros of Erebus Motorsport last year but departed earlier this month amid the saga which has seen Brodie Kostecki sidelined.

Just 10 days later, its iconic red-and-white branding has popped up on the #55 Castrol Mustang of Thomas Randle.

Coke has long had an affiliation with Tickford through subsidiary Monster Energy, which is again backing Cam Waters’ #6 Ford this season (while Autobarn also ups its presence).

Waters and Randle’s cars appeared at the Winton pre-season test in matte black and plain white, respectively.

Their official liveries have now come to light, a week out from Tickford’s first race meeting since returning to a two-car structure.

“As we gear up for the opening event, we invite everyone to join us in celebrating the start of what promises to be an exhilarating season,” said managing director Rod Nash.

“Tickford Racing is not just a team; it’s a community of passionate individuals united by the love of speed, competition, and the pursuit of victory.

“We thank all our working team for the preparation of our race cars and every other element that will be on display at track and at our race centre.

“Many thanks also to our existing partners and a huge welcome to our new sponsors.

“Our attention has a long view about the full year, but next week it’s all about the opening event.”

Erebus is now the only Supercars Championship team yet to reveal its 2024 warpaint.
