THE Blanchard Racing Team has debuted its third Gen3 Supercar in a striking Ford Performance livery.
BRT put TR-27, the chassis it acquired from Tickford Racing in the off-season, through a systems check yesterday at The Bend Motorsport Park.
That came in addition to the Box Hill squad running a full rookie test for Aaron Love, using his #3 CoolDrive Ford.
Love’s teammate James Courtney meanwhile was behind the wheel of the #16 Ford Performance Mustang (as opposed to the 2010 champion’s usual #7 Snowy River Caravans entry).
BRT has confirmed the spare car will retain that Ford Performance livery when Courtney drives it at this weekend’s Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
There, he’ll take former Haas Formula 1 team principal Guenther Steiner for a spin on Saturday.
Courtney and Love’s 2024 race cars are the two BRT-build Gen3 Mustangs, while TR-27 – campaigned last year by Declan Fraser – is their spare.
