FORMER Supercars supremo Sean Seamer has been named as part of a revamped executive leadership team at Gravity Media.
Among various appointments announced by Gravity today was Seamer’s elevation to global chief commercial and strategy officer.
Per communications from Gravity, he “will be at the forefront of shaping the company’s market presence and growth trajectory. His mandate includes driving commercial strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring alignment between business goals and market trends.”
The Kiwi originally joined Gravity in April 2022 as its president of US operations.
That directly followed Seamer’s Supercars tenure, spanning February 2018 until the end of the 2021 season – after which he was succeeded by Shane Howard.
Gravity, which last month merged with EMG, has had a long-running affiliation with Supercars as its broadcast production partner.
Seamer’s Supercars CEO predecessor, James Warburton, is also set for a job change after recently announcing he’ll step down from his post at the Seven Network by mid-2024.
