A FIELD of 28 cars will duke it out at the 2023 Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, event organisers have confirmed.
With the event regaining its international identity and all-pro line-ups, 22 GT3 entries will headline the grid.
Joining Triple Eight (Supercheap Auto Racing), GruppeM, Craft-Bamboo, Team WRT and Manthey EMA in the Pro class are Melbourne Performance Centre and 2022 winners SunEnergy1, representing Audi and Mercedes-AMG respectively.
Other new information includes the presence of a second Triple Eight Mercedes, in the Pro-Am class.
Also in Pro-Am is the PremiAir Racing-aligned Schumacher Motorsport Fuchs Racing Audi and Craig Lowndes-led Scott Taylor Motorsport Mercedes, among others.
Across the classes, there are eight cars in Pro, another eight in Pro-Am, six in Silver and six in Invitational.
The latter includes a return of the KTM X-Bow GT2 (M Motorsport) and the addition of a Sin R1 (Daytona Sports Cars).
Most teams are yet to name their driver line-ups for the February 3-5 event.
