A CAR which raced in the last ever edition of the Gold Coast Indy 300 will take part in the 2023 Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
The Dallara IR-07 was run by Conquest Racing across four years, starting in 2008 when Alex Tagliani drove it to fourth place at Surfers Paradise.
Presented in 2011 specification, it will be driven on both days of the Adelaide event by Mathew Radisich – the cousin of Paul.
It’s the latest iconic car confirmed for the March 25-26 showcase, joining a pair of 1989 Brabham BT58s, a 1988 Arrows A10B Megatron, and an Arrows Formula 1 three-seater.
Many more cars are still to be announced.
Held at the Victoria Park section of the famed Adelaide street circuit, various categories will be in action.
The festival is the latest segment in the suite of motorsport-related election promises being delivered by South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas, having revived the VALO Adelaide 500 last month.
Adelaide will continue to host Supercars’ season finale until at least 2026.
