THE booming Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix has officially hit new heights.
The Australian Grand Prix Corporation this afternoon announced an all-time record crowd for the 2024 edition, with an estimated 452,055 people through the gates over the four days.
That was capped by a record Sunday attendance to the tune of 132,106.
All up, the four-day estimated crowd figure eclipsed that set last year by 7424 people.
Supporting F1 at the event was FIA Formula 2 and Formula 3, the Repco Supercars Championship, and Porsche Carrera Cup Australia.
Dates have yet to be announced for the 2025 AGP, although a season-opening slot has been promised and a March 6-9 fixture has been rumoured.
