SBS television deal for Bathurst 6 Hour

A SEPARATE free-to-air broadcast arrangement has been announced for the 2024 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour.

The Easter production car enduro will run March 29-31, with Saturday and Sunday action to be aired live and free.

The Saturday component of the broadcast will run 1-5pm AEDT, before the Sunday coverage begins 11:30am AEDT.

That will showcase the full main event, due to conclude just before 6pm.

SBS becomes the third different free-to-air broadcaster of a major Australian motorsport event in 2024, along with Network Ten (the Australian Grand Prix) and the Seven Network (Bathurst 12 Hour, the Repco Supercars Championship, Shannons SpeedSeries and more).

The Nine Network has dropped out this year, having previously been associated with the SpeedSeries through the former Stan Sport deal.

Support categories at the 2024 Bathurst 6 Hour will include the Australian Formula Ford Series, Improved Production, the Circuit Excel Bathurst Challenge, Pulsar Series, Supermini Challenge and the HQ Racing Association.
