Super2 rookie secures multi-year major backer

EGGLESTON Motorsport rookie Jordyn Sinni appears set to continue his Dunlop Super2 program into next year after securing a long-term naming rights backer.

Sinni’s #54 ZB Commodore will be dressed in CarCity branding, in a livery designed by Tim Pattinson, from this weekend’s Sandown round through until the end of the 2024 season.

“I am so grateful to Ruvi (Herzog), Tony (Stewart) and everyone at CarCity for putting faith in me,” he said.

“It’s a great opportunity to work with a major sponsor and learn the ins and outs of working with an established brand.

“The car looks unbelievable and I’m hoping we can have some really good results and get the car up the pointy end of the field for them!”

Herzog added: “Jordyn is an emerging talent with a goal to make it into the Repco Supercars Championship.

“CarCity will be backing his journey whilst Jordyn works with us to engage with our loyal customers and dealers.”

Sinni recently joined the Push Talent Management stable under the watch of John Ruggiero, who works with the likes of Supercars race winners David Reynolds and Andre Heimgartner.

The 20-year-old is currently 16th in the Super2 standings with a best result of eighth from Race 2 in Newcastle.

He is part of a four-pronged Eggleston stable this year, alongside Kai Allen, Cooper Murray and Cameron Crick.
