V8 SLEUTH WINS AT MOTORSPORT AUSTRALIA AWARDS

THE V8 Sleuth team has gone back-to-back at the Motorsport Australia National Awards.

At a belated 2021 virtual ceremony held last night, V8 Sleuth picked up Best Use of Digital Media – having won the same award at the 2020 edition.

“We’re really thrilled to be awarded the Best Use of Digital Media by Motorsport Australia for the second year in a row,” said managing director Aaron Noonan.

“Our website, podcast and social media content attracted record numbers in 2021 and we’re appreciative of the ever-growing audience and commercial partners that choose to engage with us.

“Our passion for Australian motorsport, both contemporary and historic, runs deep and we’re continuing to work hard to keep building and make things bigger and better in what we deliver.

“Awards like this are acknowledgement of our whole team’s work and spur us on to push even harder in the future.”

Castrol Motorsport News host Andrew van Leeuwen was among others to be recognised, awarded Story of the Year for breaking the COVID-19 vaccination saga which would see David Reynolds benched.

Mark Fogarty won Journalist of the Year and Daniel Kalisz scored Photographer of the Year, while Photo of the Year went to Aaron Wishart.

There were five Media Award Service Recipients: Wayne Webster, Garry Wilkinson, Andrew MacLean, David Segal and Mark Oastler.
