10-year-old designs Jones’ Adelaide livery

MACAULEY Jones will add to his special set of Gen3 liveries this weekend in Adelaide when he rocks a design crafted by 10-year-old fan Grace Lewis.

From a striking gold look to a fan-favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles scheme, Jones and Pizza Hut have mixed it up this year and for Adelaide, they opted for a fan competition.

A winner has now been picked and brought to life on the #96 Chevrolet Camaro.

“Watching Grace’s drawing come to life on our car is pretty cool – it’s just like if she drew it herself on the Pizza Hut Camaro,” said Jones.

“She’s obviously a dedicated and passionate Supercars fan and it’s awesome being able to have her drawing on the car. She should be so proud of what she’s achieved.

“I can’t wait to meet her and give her a tour of our garage in Adelaide. It’ll be quite cool to see her beside her own livery design.

“When Pizza Hut launched this competition we weren’t sure what to expect and it’s cool to be able to race Grace’s hand drawn art.”

V8 Sleuth’s coverage of the VAILO Adelaide 500 is proudly presented by Bad Boy Mowersexplore the world of Bad Boy Mowers with the new Spring/Summer catalogue of high-performance mowers here.

Grace added: “I can’t believe I’ve won the whole thing! I worked really hard on the design, and I can’t wait to see it in real life at the race.

“My favourite driver is Macauley Jones so I am over the moon he will be driving the car I designed!”

The car will take to the track tomorrow afternoon for Practice 1 at the VAILO Adelaide 500.
