THERE will be a blast from the past at next week’s Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour courtesy of 710 Motorsport’s retro livery.
As first reported by V8 Sleuth, 710 Motorsport is contesting the Easter production car enduro using the last Toyota Camry to compete in the Great Race.
The V6 Camry was driven by David Ratcliff and the late Ron Searle in the 1998 AMP Bathurst 1000, but it did not make the finish due to electrical issues.

It will return for another shot at the Mountain at this year’s 6 Hour on March 29-31, with Darren Goddard, Russell Greaves and Shane Logan competing in Class D (for production cars).
What’s more is it has now been returned to its 1998-inspired livery, as seen at the top of this story.
The car last appeared at the Bathurst 6 Hour in 2017, when Daniel Williams, Kirt Metcalf and Daniel Sugden steered it to fifth in Class D.
