MOTORSPORT communications specialists D2N – Technology Solutions has joined the V8 Sleuth family ahead of what is set to be a massive Repco Bathurst 1000 for both organisations.

The Sydney-based business, headed by its Managing Director, long-time RF & Electronics Engineer, Jason Owen, is a familiar presence in the pit lanes of the Repco Supercars Championship and its associated categories.

The business builds solutions across the audio, video, lighting, and communications platforms for a range of industries, including motorsport. It also operates in broadcast and event production, the construction industry, and the government and education sectors.

To underline the size of its operation, it will provide services and kits for around 50 cars across all categories at December’s Repco Bathurst 1000.

D2N will become the presenting partner of V8 Sleuth’s ongoing news coverage of Australian motorsport through the remainder of 2021 and into the 2022 season, with its messaging and brand also becoming part of the V8 Sleuth Podcast and V8 Sleuth’s social media content roll-out.

The business began in the early 1990s when Owen worked for Channel 7 as a broadcast engineer on the coverage of the Australian Touring Car Championship.

Since then D2N has designed and delivered over 300 motorsport solutions across a range of categories including Supercars, Carrera Cup, Australian GT, Touring Car Masters and TCR Australia as well as building communications networks for The Bend Motorsport Park.
