THE Repco Bathurst 12 Hour has appointed local company Reckless Brewing as its official beer partner for 2024.
Reckless was last year behind the special limited-edition WAU Lager launched in collaboration with Supercars squad Walkinshaw Andretti United in the lead-up to the Repco Bathurst 1000.
Now it will make its 12 Hour debut, in an alliance hailed by event director Shane Rudzis.
“We welcome Reckless Brewing as the official Beer of the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour,” said Rudzis.
“The event is known as Australia’s International Enduro, and this year we’re excited that the world gets to sample some of Bathurst’s finest products.
“We’re excited and proud to partner with a growing local business and showcase the incredible products made in the Bathurst region to a global audience.
“The Reckless Rooftop Bar is a new addition to the event this year and will be open to all ticketholders, with iconic views and incredible brews.”
Bathurst deputy mayor Ben Fry echoed those sentiments, while Reckless co-founder Jarrod Moore added: “Being featured at the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour is a dream come true for us.
“Our beers are crafted with a spirit of adventure and innovation, much like the ethos of the motorsport community that we love.
“We can’t wait for the fans to enjoy our beers as they revel in the excitement of the race.”
The Bathurst 12 Hour will be held across February 16-18.
