TWO-TIME Bathurst 1000 winner Allan Grice has been announced as making a special guest appearance at this year’s returning Diecast Model Expo.
One of the most popular events among model car collectors in Australia, this year’s event will be held on November 4 and 5 at Tabcorp Park in Melton, Victoria.
Tickets are on sale here now with general admission tickets priced at $24 per person and including two days entry to the Expo and, most importantly, providing the opportunity to purchase exclusive expo models.
Further announcements of other exclusive expo models will follow in upcoming weeks, as will details of the special guests that will make appearances at the event.
Grice will feature at the Saturday night Gala Dinner (tickets are $65 per person) and one of his former Bathurst 1000 cars has just been announced as being made as one of the exclusive expo models.
The 1980 Craven Mild Racing Commodore VC he drove in the race with John Smith has been produced by Classic Carlectables in 1:18 scale as an expo exclusive with just 400 versions produced.
