Bathurst winners category created for Adelaide festival

ADELAIDE Motorsport Festival organisers have established a special category for its 2024 event, dedicated to cars which have won the Bathurst 500/1000.

The segment will be sponsored by PremiAir Hire, owned by Peter Xiberras whose car collection includes the Holden ZB Commodore which won the Great Race in both 2020 and 2022.

Bathurst-winning cars already confirmed for next year’s festival are the Nissan Skyline GT-R R32s which won the 1991 and 1992 editions of the Bathurst 1000.

Further Great Race winners are due to be announced in the coming weeks.
