CASTROL and V8 Sleuth are powering on into the 2024 motorsport season with confirmation of the global lubricants leader re-affirming its commitment to the award-winning Australian motorsport content platform.
It marks a continuation of Castrol’s long-term association with V8 Sleuth and ongoing support of content created for motorsport fans and enthusiasts in a year that marks a special milestone, with Castrol celebrating its 125th anniversary.
Castrol has become the presenting partner of the V8 Sleuth Podcast after serving as the foundation partner of the award-winning Motorsport News Podcast since its debut in late 2021.
It has also become the presenting partner of the Castrol Supercars Weekly Podcast, a weekly bite-sized offering bringing Supercars fans up to speed on the latest news and information in Australia’s top motorsport category.
Castrol will present V8 Sleuth’s award-winning Supercars Championship event coverage of multiple rounds in 2024, as well as this weekend’s Repco Bathurst 12 Hour and the website’s ongoing coverage of the Dunlop Series for the stars of tomorrow in Super2 and Super3.
V8 Sleuth and its AN1 Media parent company will also once more print the Castrol Grid Card for October’s Repco Bathurst 1000, a tradition of the ‘Great Race’ that dates back to the late 1970s.
“Castrol is set for a momentous year for its 125th anniversary and its ambition to continually move ‘Onward, Upward and Forward’ sits in total alignment with our approach at V8 Sleuth in everything we do,” says V8 Sleuth MD Aaron Noonan.
“We appreciate the ongoing support of such a prestigious brand and look forward to working together and continuing our partnership.”
V8 Sleuth has won the Best Publication Award at the Supercars Media Awards for the last two years running.
It was awarded the Best Use of Digital Media Award for the fourth year in succession at Sunday evening’s annual Motorsport Australia Awards.
