TICKFORD Racing rookie Declan Fraser will rock a revised livery at this weekend’s Sandown 500.
The #56 Tradie Mustang’s look has been updated to promote the Australian brand’s beer range which is due to launch next week.
It has been a tough initiation to the main game for Fraser, who won the 2022 Super2 title with Triple Eight but is 25th and last of the full-timers after eight rounds this year.
With Tickford downsizing its Repco Supercars Championship program from four cars to two next season, a big enduro result would be timely for Fraser. It’s widely anticipated, albeit unconfirmed, that Cam Waters and Thomas Randle will be Tickford’s 2024 drivers.
Born in Castlemaine, Victoria and raised in Mackay, Queensland, Fraser turned 23 last Sunday.
He will be paired with Tyler Everingham for Sandown and Bathurst.
Everingham has won at both tracks in Super2 and raced earlier this year in National Trans Am.
Tickford’s other enduro pairings are James Courtney/Zak Best (#5), Waters/James Moffat (#6) and Randle/Garry Jacobson (#55).
