THE make-up of the 2023 Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour track schedule has been confirmed.
After the Town to Track parade on the Thursday (February 2), running from 10:30am to 1pm AEDT, the field will return to Mount Panorama in preparation for the opening day of action.
Six practice sessions will precede a two-part qualifying for the main event, which then leads into the event’s now customary two-part Top 10 Shootout.
Come Sunday, the race will start at 5:45am AEDT, some 42 minutes before sunrise is scheduled that day (February 5) in Bathurst.
Throughout Friday and Saturday, 50-plus fields in Combined Sedans and Formula Ford 1600 will act as support categories.
There are also three periods set aside for a demonstration, presumably all involving Red Bull’s 2011 Formula 1 title-winning RB7.
Broadcast details for the event are due to be announced this week.
