Don’t miss out on your piece of Holden racing history …
THE V8 Sleuth team is very proud to confirm that its new limited edition publication covering the full racing histories of every single Holden Racing Team Commodore race car is now available for pre-order.
Award-winning writer, V8Supercars expert and head of V8 Sleuth, Aaron Noonan has created the ultimate piece of Holden Racing Team history.
Compiled in a quality, 300-page hardcover publication, all 47 cars that have carried the famous ‘lion and helmet’ logo are covered in depth and detail, their stories told by the men that both built and drove these iconic racing machines.
Foundation Holden Racing Team driver and acclaimed TV broadcaster Neil Crompton has also written the foreword for this exciting new project.
This release is a strictly limited special edition publication of 1000 copies – each will include a numbered certificate – so pre-ordering your copy is strongly encouraged to ensure you don’t miss out!
All of the team’s cars are covered; from the early Group A VL Commodores of the late 1980s/early 1990s right through to the V8 Supercar era Holdens that gave the team over 200 race wins driven by the likes of Peter Brock, Mark Skaife, Craig Lowndes, Win Percy, Greg Murphy, Garth Tander, Will Davison, Jason Bright, James Courtney and many more.
These cars carried the Holden Racing Team to seven Bathurst 1000 victories and six championships, amid a range of other victories and success over the last 25-plus years.
Featuring scores of previously unpublished photos from racing, testing and launches, the book includes a full results history of every HRT racecar over its time with the team.
Each car’s history is told in depth; its successes and failures, technical advances and livery changes and even where all of these pieces of Australian motorsport history have ended up when their racing careers have come to an end.
With the current era of the HRT wrapping up at the completion of the 2016 Supercars Championship in Sydney in early December, this book instantly becomes an important piece of memorabilia for Holden fans.
Author Noonanhas spent nearly two decades researching and collating the content for this book, the likes of which have never been seen in Australian motorsport publishing.
Going to press in very early 2017 and available in the second quarter of 2017, this very special publication is a must-have for HRT, Holden and Australian motorsport fans.
Copies are $119.95 plus postage.
