MSR to make special stop on trek to Perth

MATT Stone Racing has committed to making a special stop on the long trek to Wanneroo Raceway.

Accompanied by their respective Chevrolet Camaros, drivers Nick Percat and Cameron Hill will pop up in the Western Australian town of Bunbury in the lead-up to next weekend’s Perth SuperSprint.

A coastal town 170km south of Perth, Bunbury will be in for what MSR believes to be its maiden Supercars experience.

That will come on Wednesday, 9-11am local time, at the Retravision Bunbury store and is the latest chapter of MSR’s touring activities which previously saw them visit Canberra after the 2024 Bathurst 500.

“We are really excited to be making a stopover in Bunbury on the way over to Perth, it’s pretty unique,” said team owner Matt Stone.

“Over the past year, our WA team partner group has grown with GeoTech Australia joining Retravision, MGM Bulk and Emerge Office as part of the MSR family.

“Of course, we only get to visit them once a year when the Perth event comes around, so it will be nice to have everyone together again.

“A Supercar has never visited Bunbury before, so it’s pretty special to be able to give the community a little taste of what we do.”

Percat and Hill are sixth and 16th in the championship, respectively, after three rounds.
