MORE than a dozen classic cars will be wheeled out for a pair of parades this weekend as Repco leads celebrations for Supercars’ final visit to Pukekohe Park Raceway.
A diverse field will hit the track at 2:45pm NZST (12:45pm AEST) on Saturday and 3:15pm NZST (1:15pm AEST) on Sunday.
The historic New Zealand North Island circuit will cease all motorsport activities from April next year – but not before an emotional Supercars send-off this weekend.
The ITM Auckland SuperSprint television broadcast will kick off Friday with a special segment entitled Pukekohe: The final lap.
Competitive track action will feature the Repco Supercars Championship supported primarily by legends Greg Murphy, John Bowe and Steven Richards running in New Zealand Historic Touring Cars.
