Ryco Race Guide: 2024 ITM Taupō Super400 Session Times

IN 2024 our great mates at Ryco are helping bring V8 Sleuth readers these quick-bite stories that have all of the information for each round of the Repco Supercars Championship in the one place.

The Jason Richards Trophy is on the line this weekend in New Zealand for the overall winner of the ITM Taupō Super400 as Supercars racing returns to NZ for the first time since September 2022.

There’s a field of 24 drivers taking to the track at Taupō with 14 Chevrolet Camaros and 10 Ford Mustangs in the 2024 field with a range of experience and youth filling the seats, including five Kiwi drivers.

But perhaps the biggest element of the event is that it marks the return to Supercars racing of reigning champion Brodie Kostecki, who reunites with Erebus Motorsport after sitting out the opening two rounds at Bathurst and Albert Park.

Here’s a range of information you need to know for the ITM Taupō Super400 including on-track session times, TV times and more.

What is the race format for the ITM Taupō Super400?

There will be two compulsory pitstops – with at least two tyres to be changed at each – for both 200km races. Originally there was a minimum fuel drop of 80 litres per race but this has since been removed.
