TRIPLE Eight has again rescheduled its shakedown of the two Gen3 Camaros with which it will contest the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship.
The team has confirmed its newly built #87 and #88 Red Bull Ampol Racing cars for Will Brown and Broc Feeney will now make their track debuts tomorrow at Queensland Raceway.
Initially, the shakedown was due to take place today, but forecast wet weather prompted Triple Eight to postpone until Thursday.
The forecast has since improved, although the latest change is a result of “Queensland Raceway scheduling changes”, per communications from the Chevrolet team.
The cars which finished last season as Broc Feeney’s #88 and Shane van Gisbergen’s #97 have been snapped up by collectors – Tony Quinn in the case of the latter.
That chassis, 888A-063, became the first Gen3 Supercar to lap Taupō Motorsport Park earlier this month.

Triple Eight’s new-for-2024 challengers (888A-065 for Feeney and 888A-066 for Brown) will return to QR next week for a full pre-season test on Monday, February 5.
Triple Eight also has 888A-060 still in its possession, to again use for a wildcard enduro campaign.
UPDATE: Matt Stone Racing will also be at QR tomorrow, with scheduling changes also forcing a rookie day for Cameron Hill to be brought forward.
