TV details announced for Bathurst 12 Hour

THE television talent and broadcast windows have been confirmed for this weekend’s Repco Bathurst 12 Hour.

Seventeen hours of coverage will be dedicated to the event, available via both the Seven Network and Fox Sports/Kayo.

Chad Neylon will host the broadcast and be on pitlane duties alongside Shea Adam and Jack Perkins.

The commentary team meanwhile will comprise of Richard Craill, Garth Tander and veteran international sports car racing caller John Hindhaugh, while Matt Naulty will lead the charge on support categories.

Saturday coverage will run from 12:30-5pm AEDT on both free-to-air (7Two) and subscription platforms (plus international streaming via the event’s website).

The extensive Sunday broadcast (Seven’s TV/digital channels, plus Fox/Kayo) is scheduled from 5:30am to 6pm AEDT.

Furthermore, practice sessions will be streamed live and free via Bathurst 12 Hour social media channels, with all of the action also available via the Radio Show Ltd.

“The Repco Bathurst 12 Hour is a fantastic way to start the season and a great way to kick off the Bathurst SuperFest,” said Supercars head of broadcast Nathan Prendergast.

“The international field, stars like Valentino Rossi going head-to-head with some of Supercars’ biggest names and incredible cars from brands like Mercedes-AMG, Audi, BMW Porsche and Lamborghini make it a really unique and special event.

“We have a great on-air team assembled to make sure every angle is covered; we can’t wait for people to follow the action via our broadcasting partners at Fox Sports, Kayo and the Seven Network.

“It starts a huge fortnight that will see our team produce more than 40 hours of live television across five days from Mount Panorama, culminating in the Thrifty Bathurst 500 a week later.”
