THE first Australian motorsport championship calendar is set in stone for 2024, with a six-round schedule unveiled for the Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship.
It’s a stable if slightly reshuffled program, with the same six events as this season but in a different order.
The key change sees the first and last rounds of the year switch places.
That means the National Capital Rally in Canberra will return to being the season-opener, kicking things off across April 5-7.
From there, Forest Rally (Western Australia), Rally Queensland, Gippsland Rally and Adelaide Hills Rally form the middle four rounds before the Launceston finale on November 22-24.
“The ARC has grown substantially in the past two years and we’re thrilled to be able to have the same six events on the 2024 calendar as this year,” said Motorsport Australia’s Michael Smith.
“With four rounds complete and two more to come in 2023, the health of the championship and our individual events is as strong as ever.
“Having the same six events highlights that stability within the championship which also allows spectators plenty of opportunities to return to events they have enjoyed already.”
Lewis Bates leads the 2023 standings by 15 points from brother Harry with two rounds remaining.

Round 1: National Capital Rally, April 5-7
Round 2: Forest Rally, May 17-19
Round 3: Rally Queensland, June 28-30
Round 4: Gippsland Rally, August 9-11
Round 5: Adelaide Hills Rally, September 13-15*
Round 6: Rally Launceston, November 22-24*
*Note that Rounds 5 and 6 were initially scheduled for September 20-22 and November 15-17 and have since been updated.
