SCOTT McLaughlin has gotten a bumpy early look at Road America in preparation for his next start in the IndyCar Series.
The Team Penske star this week tested at the Wisconsin circuit ahead of Round 8 of the season on June 18 (local time).
It wasn’t all smooth sailing though, with McLaughlin getting launched airborne at one stage after running wide at Turn 1.
The three-time Supercars champion shared the below video via social media, reporting that he’d flown 85 feet but escaped without any damage to his back.
McLaughlin is currently seventh in the championship with one win to his name in 2023, coming at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama.
