Gen3 Camaro launch model ready to roll

THE latest Supercars model car release from Authentic Collectables has arrived here now in the V8 Sleuth Superstore – the Chevrolet Racing Camaro ZL1 launch car from 2021.

Driven by Shane van Gisbergen in the official public unveiling of the Supercars Gen3 platform at the 2021 Repco Bathurst 1000, the silver and black Camaro makes for a cool model car and has now been released in 1:18 scale.

The Ford Mustang revealed on the same weekend has also been released as a model by Authentic and limited stock remains here in our V8 Sleuth Superstore.

Produced in diecast with opening parts, the launch car is the first Gen3 Camaro released by Authentic Collectables.

Comprised of roughly 205 individual metal and plastic parts it includes a number of impressive features for collectors.

Both the driver and passenger doors can be opened to reveal a highly detailed racing cockpit, or you can view the interior through the clear windows which are moulded to the body of the model.

One of the cool things about the Gen3 platform is there’s no longer a big airbox which covers the engine, so when you open the bonnet of this model a detailed 5.7-litre Chevrolet Racing LTR V8 and engine bay surround awaits. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.

The Chevrolet Racing launch livery and exterior colour look incredible, and the new Gen3 wheels are a refreshing upgrade over the previous generation which combine to give the model a modern and aggressive look.

Another cool feature with this model is the giant Chevrolet logo on the rear parcel shelf which can be seen through the rear window. Pose-able steering and working suspension round out even more nice features.

Produced in an exclusive limited edition of 1056 pieces, the Camaro comes with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity, presented in its own protective cardboard folder.

Both of the launch cars used in prototype testing have been placed on the market by Supercars.
