THE onboard footage from a frightening moment in Touring Car Masters yesterday has been released.
Valiant Pacer driver Cameron Tilley was motoring down Conrod Straight in the category’s final race at the 2022 Bathurst International when his windscreen collapsed.
Potentially making matters worse was the fact Tilley’s helmet visor was taped up.
Thankfully, the veteran – who had been involved in an earlier collision with Danny Buzadzic – safely made it back to the pits to retire from the race.
