THERE is unlikely to be a repeat of last year’s sodden Repco Bathurst 1000.
The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting little in the way of rain at Bathurst during the four event days, Thursday to Sunday this week.
As at Monday morning, the bulk of the wet weather is set to hit the Mountain mid-week.
In particular, there is a 95 percent chance of rain on Wednesday, with eight to 35mm predicted and possible storms.

So effected was the 2022 Bathurst 1000 that the Saturday Top 10 Shootout was forced to be cancelled.

Thursday October 5: Showers, maximum 14 degrees, 60% chance of rain (0-2mm).
Friday October 6: Cloudy, maximum 18 degrees, 10% chance of rain.
Saturday October 7: Cloudy, maximum 18 degrees, 10% chance of rain.
Sunday October 8: Cloudy, maximum 19 degrees, 10% chance of rain.
